First Round Hit - The Long Range Shooting Simulator

Long-range shooting simulator

First Round Hit - The Long Range Shooting Simulator is a PC long-range shooting simulator about building a firing solution and trying to hit a target on the first shot. You estimate the target’s distance, account for wind and ballistic data, adjust a scope, then fire. The game leaves key calculations to you, with a built-in calculator available to help with range estimates.

Estimating range and corrections

Targets’ exact distances aren’t given. You use a Mil-Dot reticle and the target’s known dimensions to estimate range, either doing the math yourself or using the calculator. Then you consult ballistic reference tables for the selected ammunition and estimated distance. The tables give elevation and wind corrections, displayed in MOA or MIL.
