Firewatch - PS4

A Journey in Firewatch's Wyoming Wilderness

In Firewatch, you assume the role of Henry, who seeks refuge from his chaotic life by taking a job as a fire lookout in the expansive wilderness of Wyoming. The year is 1989, a time when technology hasn’t yet infiltrated the pristine beauty of nature. As Henry, your primary responsibility is to scan the horizon for smoke, ensuring that the forest remains untouched by flames. However, this solitary existence takes an unexpected turn, dramatically altering the course of your summer.

Your Connection to Delilah

Communication plays a significant role in Firewatch. Through a handheld radio, you stay in contact with your supervisor, Delilah. This relationship unfolds as you exchange thoughts, support, and concerns, illustrating the emotional weight that human connection carries, even in isolation. Each conversation not only affects Henry’s state of mind but also impacts the evolving narrative. The choices you make during these dialogues shape how deep that connection goes, entwining Henry’s fate with Delilah's.
