Fire in the Dark

Psychological meta-horror

Fire in the Dark is a psychological meta-horror game for PC, set between a girl’s room and a sinister game running on her computer. The two worlds affect each other, and your actions in the computer game affect reality. You’re locked in the room, where personal items and hidden clues point to the heroine’s past.

Two connected worlds

You explore the room and the dark forest inside the computer game, looking for clues across both. Puzzles require you to investigate the two worlds and work out how they connect. In the forest, you fight to survive by a campfire and collect symbols tied to the heroine’s past.
