Eye of the Giant

Interrogating History in Eye of the Giant

In Eye of the Giant, players take on the role of a Judge in a timeless courtroom setting, facing off against historical figures whose actions shaped the world. This roguelike deckbuilder challenges you to pull apart the essence of these legendary personas, think Isaac Newton, Genghis Khan, and even Odin. Your task is not simply to defeat them, but to manipulate their psychological states until they confess or find redemption. The courtroom serves as a stage for this intricate game of trial, where every decision you make echoes through time.

Psychological Warfare with Card Mechanics

Unlike traditional health points, each defendant in Eye of the Giant possesses four psychological states: Sanity, Conviction, Arrogance, and Guilt. These conditions replace health bars and shape the interaction between you and historical characters. Breaking down these states reveals the truth hidden beneath their pride. To win, you’ll have to explore a defendant's breaking point while judiciously manipulating their perception of reality.
