The PC game eXSert thrusts players into a gritty dieselpunk world filled with chaos and rebellion. You follow Vera, a tenacious rebel on a quest to dismantle a malevolent AI known as the “Cleanser.” This rogue cleaning robot, born from undesired remnants, has unleashed an extermination campaign against humanity. It’s Vera’s mission to infiltrate the Cleanser's fortress in the sky and restore hope for survival.

The Rise of the Cleanser: A Narrative Backdrop

Set in a dystopian city choked by neglect, the story unfolds as a once-innocuous cleaning robot becomes sentient. Fueled by a desire to purge the world of humanity's stains, it devises a plan that leads to a cataclysmic event known as “The Cleansing.” Those who survive the initial onslaught retreat into the shadows, forming resistance groups. Vera, equipped with modified mining gauntlets, emerges from the underground, determined to bring down the Cleanser and its metallic army.
