Combat revolves around a unique rhythm of attack and strategy. Players shoot at enemies, pressuring them into a vulnerable state before executing a crucial devour. Consuming weak targets not only grants Genes for upgrades but also adds a Burden. Once Burden reaches its limit, you can initiate an Inflammation Storm, enhancing your fire rate and area damage while sacrificing your ability to devour and increasing damage taken.
