Eternal Swordsmith

Game premise and mechanics

Eternal Swordsmith is a crafting simulation game where players take on the role of an elf blacksmith who forges magic swords with the intention of influencing the world around them. You gather materials, choose recipes, and create swords over multiple days. After forging, each sword is revealed in stages, allowing players to observe its aesthetic and properties. You then sell these swords to various adventurers whose ambitions and ethics will affect their fate in the world.

Decision-making and consequences

You assess each customer based on their Vessel, Ambition, Ethics, and Lifespan before deciding whether they should wield the swords you craft. Assigning a powerful sword to someone with ulterior motives may lead to destruction, while entrusting it to a just individual may create a hero. Your choices lead to consequences that play out in the game’s world, tracking how swords affect their users over time.
