Game premise and mechanics

Estigia is a puzzle-platformer set in the Greek underworld. Players control a soul navigating through the shadowy realms of the afterlife, where they must reach a court that will decide their fate. The gameplay mechanics revolve around continuous movement: you cannot stop sliding in a chosen direction until you encounter a wall, trap, or enemy. Each of the eleven zones presents different sliding puzzle mechanics that involve evading foes, avoiding traps, and interacting with environmental elements like blocks, mirrors, and elevators.

Boss encounters

In each zone, players face one of eleven Greek gods, each serving as a boss. The fights are designed to reflect the mechanics of their respective zones, requiring familiarity with the specific strategies needed to defeat them. Understanding how to navigate the environment and utilize movement mechanics effectively is essential to overcoming these challenging adversaries.
