Mercenary contracts

Engines of Hate is a single-player real-time tactics game for PC, set in an industrial science-fiction galaxy. You command a mercenary ship and its crew, taking contracts for Credits. Each mission sends your forces from orbit to a world where you must complete objectives and get your people out.

Missions focus on combat: there’s no mining or base building. You hold ground, advance through enemy forces, and use your units and equipment to meet each contract’s objectives. The galaxy map takes you between worlds, where you choose contracts. Later worlds bring tougher versions of enemies you’ve already faced.
