EMPYRE: Lords of the Sea Gates

Survive the Flood in EMPYRE: Lords of the Sea Gates

In EMPYRE: Lords of the Sea Gates, players find themselves in an alternate 1899 where coastal cities have succumbed to flooding. New York City, now a chaotic tapestry of City-States, challenges players to navigate a world transformed by water and steam. They will strategize, barter, and combat to save their dwindling resources as the city’s water supply runs dry.

Explore a Neo-Victorian World

The game's neo-Victorian setting breathes life into a flooded version of New York, heavily inspired by the 19th Century “Gilded Age”. Players can expect to find themselves walking through regions populated by unique City-States, such as the Mano Nera, crafted by Italian immigrants, and Tammany, a hub for government officials. Each area features real-life locations like The Tombs Prison and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, enriching the narrative.
