Empire of the Ants (2000)

Welcome to Empire of the Ants

Empire of the Ants transports players into the complex world of ants, blending real-time strategy with simulation elements. Originally released on PC in 2000 by Microids, this classic is making a return on GOG, inviting both veterans and newcomers to lead an ant colony in the Bel-O-Kan empire. Prepare to strategize, manage, and outmaneuver as you tackle missions to fend off foes like the dreaded praying mantis.

Leadership of an Ant Colony

As the leader of the colony, your primary goal is to ensure survival and expansion. You're not just managing an underground maze; you're orchestrating a multifaceted environment that spans both the ant colony and the great outdoors. The colony is filled with essential chambers that support egg production and food storage, each placement instrumental to your strategy.
