Emberfall

Dark fantasy RPG

Emberfall is a single-player illustrated dark fantasy RPG for PC. You play Alden, son of Sera of the Ashen Spear, who disappeared after confronting Varos of the Spirals thirty years ago. Now the Ember Rings are going dark, their keepers are gone, and the last flame is fading. You search a ruined world for relics and try to uncover what happened on Sera’s final journey.

Timing-based combat

Combat is turn-based, but each Attack, Guard, and Focus action uses an interactive timing bar. Your timing determines whether an action is Normal, Strong, Perfect, or a miss. A Perfect Guard triggers an immediate counterattack, while Focus builds to widen your timing windows and strengthen your next attacks.
