ABOUT THIS GAME

Strategic Elemental Combat in ELE

In ELE, players engage in a dynamic battle of strategy and skill as they step into the shoes of mages who tackle a series of trials to claim victory. Teams can unitedly cooperate or face off against each other in the race to retrieve their keys. The challenge lies in transporting these keys to designated evacuation points while managing resources and coordinating with allies.

Acquire and Master Elements

Five core elements define the framework of gameplay in ELE. Initially equipped with no elemental powers, players must progress through the game to acquire four basic elements: Water, Fire, Ice, and Lightning. These elements form a cycle where each counters another. The prestigious Earth element, accessible through Gravity Stones, calls for players to first harness a basic element before its acquisition.

Develop Your Attributes and Skills

Players can improve their performance by allocating points across four attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith. These stats adjust both physical damage output and status effects, expanding strategic options in combat. Elemental damage scales are intricately woven into these attributes, necessitating a thoughtful approach to character progression and role adaptation as rounds evolve.

Engaging Combat Mechanics

Combat in ELE is a blend of ranged and melee actions. Staves can unleash rays or strike in close combat, while players can navigate vertically with skills like dash and wall-jump. Spells, acquired through defeating monsters or trading with merchants, include offensive maneuvers like projectiles and traps. The freedom to mark targets for teammates adds a layer of tactical depth to engagements, making teamwork essential in overcoming formidable challenges.

Weight Management and Inventory Dynamics

Every mage carries a weighty pack filled with potions, spellbooks, and critical items such as Gravity Stones. The weight of the pack impacts movement speed; heavier loads can hinder players in pivotal moments. The management of resources becomes crucial, as players decide when to utilize specific spells or items under strict conditions. Careful planning around inventory use can often turn the tide in crucial matches.

Fragile Victory Conditions

Victory in ELE does not come easy. Players must gather key fragments to assemble a complete key, which then broadcasts the bearer’s position to all opponents. If left unclaimed, the key vanishes, adding urgency to gameplay. This mechanic requires constant vigilance and strategic foresight in both offensive and defensive play, as teams vie for supremacy in the Magic Academy arena.

Death and Revival Mechanics

The cycle of life and death is integral to the experience in ELE. On death, players transform into spirits, roaming the battlefield until revived by teammates. If a fallen player carried a complete key, allies can respawn alongside them, providing a tactical advantage. Souls, accumulated through various deaths, play a crucial role in character upgrades and can sway a match in unforeseen ways.

Procedurally Generated Environments and Enemies

Each match unfolds in a unique, procedurally generated Magic Academy filled with diverse challenges, including dangerous foes like the Summoner. This enemy not only summons support knights but can also change elemental affinities to thwart players effectively. The environment, rich in traps and rewards, invites exploration, requiring players to stay alert and adapt their strategies on the fly.
