Eldritch Wildlife Tours

Game premise and setup

Eldritch Wildlife Tours is a 2-player co-op adventure designed for PC where players take on the roles of a brother and sister running a sightseeing charter. The game features both split-screen and online play options. Players can choose to play alone, swapping between the roles of captain and photographer. The goal is to embark on tours from the lighthouse, navigate the sea, photograph creatures, and safely return passengers.

Roles and mechanics

The captain operates the boat from an isometric view, managing controls such as throttle and rudder, while also navigating potential dangers lurking in the water. The captain can engage in a risk-reward challenge, where striking creatures can cause damage to the boat and risk passenger safety. The state of the boat impacts performance, affecting speed and fuel consumption for future tours.
