Game premise and setting

Echo Doodle is a fast-paced, hand-drawn 2D action roguelite set on the pages of a notebook. Players fight through stages filled with enemies that are drawn in a doodle style. Each run provides opportunities to select new abilities and upgrades, leading to various playstyles that evolve over time.

Combat and upgrades

In the game, combat emphasizes fast movement and aggressive action. You can dodge incoming attacks, dash through enemies, and utilize a range of abilities. After every battle, you can decide how to upgrade your skills, whether by focusing on a single attack type or combining multiple abilities to create a custom build. As you progress, you encounter increasingly dangerous enemies and powerful bosses.
