Duskfire

A world split by light

Duskfire is a dark fantasy deckbuilding roguelite for PC, set on a world divided between Mara’s eternal daylight and everlasting darkness. Humans and Daemonkin live in the narrow Twilight Zone between them, under pressure from Daemons advancing out of the sunlit lands and Crawlers rising from below. The story follows key figures caught up in the conflicts, as they try to survive, learn ancient magic and uncover secrets left by earlier wars.

The setting also includes scorched deserts, forests, frozen tundra, open plains and volcanic land beneath an eternal night. Restless undead and hostile creatures remain in forests near the Twilight Zone. Farther away, a hidden heartland survives in myths and fragments. The ring moon Toki marks time for civilizations across the world, but the peoples of eternal day and distant night have had no contact for more than six thousand moons.
