The forest is procedurally generated each night, creating different layouts with clearings, bogs, and trails. There's no map to guide players, meaning that each run feels distinct and requires players to familiarize themselves with the terrain as they search for cursed bones to bring to the altar. Sound plays a critical role; noise carries in the game, influencing how creatures respond. Players must learn to minimize vocal communication to survive, as louder sounds risk waking the King.
