Don't Stop the Beat is a PC asymmetrical multiplayer third-person shooter set in a nightclub. One team protects the DJ and keeps the music playing until the song ends; the other hides among dancing NPC clubgoers and tries to take down the DJ before then.

The two sides approach the dance floor differently. The DJ’s bouncers watch for gang members and use their firepower to defend the DJ. Gang members dance with the crowd to conceal themselves, then choose when and where to attack.
