Game overview

Dode is a massively multiplayer online game focused on tactical combat within a voxel-based world. Players enter Dodecahedria, a land characterized by elemental mana and ongoing conflict known as the Mana Wars. The game emphasizes strategy, exploration, resource management, and the capture and training of creatures called Daimon.

Combat mechanics

Combat in the game features both tactical tile-based overworld battles and close-quarters turn-based encounters. Players can summon their Daimon, which can be treated as controllable characters in combat. Spells are cast using Runes, which are generated from rare finds and can target tiles or entities. The outcome of spells is influenced by elemental interactions, where opposing elements deal extra damage, while the same elements can heal.
