Dissolution of My Self

The Weight of a Fading Nation in Dissolution of My Self

Dissolution of My Self delves into the collapse of identity in a fractured reality. Set against the backdrop of a fictional nation’s downfall, it invites players into a confined space where disconnect reigns. The main character, Hector, grapples with his diminished self as he navigates a confounding world marked by language barriers, personal history, and psychological turmoil. The narrative unfolds primarily through point-and-click interactions, drawing players into a haunting investigation of memory and belonging.

A String of Fractured Memories

In this psychological horror game, players must piece together Hector's past through his interactions with everyday objects in the cramped apartment he shares with Matvey, his caretaker and relative. Each click unlocks fragments of memories that reveal complex dynamics between the characters. As players explore, they trigger moments that blur the line between past and present, illustrating how the weight of history can distort one’s sense of self.
