Survival JRPG in a ruined city

Die Hand Gottes is a survival thriller JRPG for PC about a city overwhelmed by biological and technological horrors. Humanity used artificial intelligence to rewrite DNA and eradicate disease, but the effort produced mutations, malfunctioning machines and other threats. You play as Gottes Riordan, who returns home after receiving a desperate letter from his sister, then follows her trail through rain-soaked forests, deserted streets, underground caverns and abandoned research facilities toward the tower where it began.

Combat and weapons

Battles happen in the places you encounter enemies. While an action gauge fills, you reposition and judge the reach of your weapon, then choose when to shoot, heal or use a Gift. Changing weapons takes an action, so switching to a better tool for the situation has a cost. The game pairs military weapons with supernatural abilities, and getting cornered can end a fight.
