DemonStar

Reviving a Classic: DemonStar on PC

DemonStar soars back to life on PC, remastered by Scott Host, the mastermind behind the legendary titles Galactix and Raptor: Call of the Shadows. Originally launched in 1997 and awarded COMPUTER GAMING WORLD's "Shareware Game of the Year" in 1999, this 2D space shooter is often regarded by fans as one of the best of its kind. With a visually updated experience and enticing new game modes, its resurgence is one that both longtime fans and new players should not miss.

Game Modes to Enhance Playability

In this remastered edition, players can choose between two distinct modes: Legacy Mode for those who cherish the original experience, and Enhanced Mode that incorporates modern tweaks. This flexibility allows the game to appeal to different types of gamers, whether they want nostalgia or a fresh challenge. Both modes maintain the fundamental mechanics while providing options for smoother gameplay, including a choice between 60 and 120 FPS, making every shot and maneuver feel impactful.
