In Deliverance mode, players assume the role of a hero fighting against Alaric's dark empire. The journey involves traversing through four treacherous floors, each leading to unique and formidable boss battles. Players must strategically select from 6 classes, equipping their hero with 25 distinct weapons and 53 artifacts. The survival of your character hinges on how well you balance strengths and weaknesses, deciding what to carry into battle and what to leave behind.

Managing risk is integral to Deliverance. Players can opt to retreat after conquering a floor, securing treasures for future attempts, or press onward for greater rewards at potentially grave costs. With every turn, players encounter numerous foes and must tactically decide how to deploy their skills—not only to defeat enemies but to avoid the chaos that can ensue from taking too long among the haunting castle halls.

The Tyrant's Strategy: Reign Mode

Transitioning to the Reign mode flips the narrative, granting players the opportunity to embody Alaric himself. As the defender of his castle, players must counter a wave of invading heroes. Strategically building bonds with one of six malevolent factions equips players with unique strengths and options for defense.
