Degrowth is a management simulation game where players assume the role of an employee at Dynanergy Cloud Services, a fictional cloud living firm. Your primary task is to oversee the removal of outdated structures from various cities and facilitate the transfer of residents to a cloud-based living facility. The central premise revolves around improving the planet for AI, often at the expense of local inhabitants.

Core gameplay

The game involves executing a series of duties that include eliminating non-AI related infrastructure and relocating displaced residents. Once residents' brains are uploaded to the cloud, the game shows the aftermath of these removals as nature begins to reclaim the land. Throughout the game, you may face resistance from locals who are unwilling to leave their homes.
