Dear Esther: Landmark - PS4

Welcome to Dear Esther: Landmark Edition on PS4

Enter the world of Dear Esther: Landmark Edition, a first-person narrative-driven game that turns gaming conventions on their head. Set on a desolate island in the outer Hebrides, players find themselves navigating a landscape filled with echoes of the past, all while a poignant story unfolds through evocative letters. Here, exploration and atmosphere serve as the main components, inviting players to immerse themselves in a tale of love, loss, and redemption.

Traverse the Solitary Island Landscape

As you roam the isolated island, the environment is as much a character as the narrative itself. Each location is crafted in exquisite detail, revealing remnants of a world touched by tragedy. The interplay of light, sound, and terrain creates a powerful sense of place, drawing players further into the story. The developers at The Chinese Room and Rob Briscoe have meticulously designed these landscapes, encouraging players to pause, observe, and reflect on their surroundings.
