Deadwood Contingency is a PC game about commanding a covert military unit sent into a forest to contain and research a mysterious threat. You face unnatural creatures and investigate the source of an outbreak.

Containing the outbreak

Your unit’s task is to stop the threat from spreading beyond the forest. The game centers on that effort: researching what’s there while working to contain it. The outbreak’s source is the target of the investigation, and preventing a wider calamity is the operation’s aim.
