Deadline Detective

Investigation and deduction

Deadline Detective is a PC investigation and deduction game set among robots, eccentric suspects, and space liners in a retrofuturistic world. You work as an inspector, handling around a hundred investigations, with 48 hours to solve each one and a single chance to accuse someone. Across cases, a recurring signature points to a figure called the Archivist.

Case files and evidence

Each investigation gives you reports, witness statements, and seized evidence to read. You can search locations and question suspects about leads you find. Suspects can lie even when they’re innocent, so you’ll need to compare what they say with the documents and evidence.
