Dead Man's Crown

A gothic court of shifting roles

Dead Man’s Crown is a PC social deduction game set around a council table. Players begin with secret roles and partial information, then try to uncover threats, protect allies or pursue their own objectives. Your role can change during the night, so what you know about yourself and the other players may no longer be true by dawn.

Night actions

While the court sleeps, role-based abilities can reveal another player’s identity, inspect cards in the center of the table or secretly exchange cards. The order of these actions matters: a card someone saw earlier may have moved since. To work out the current roles, you have to piece together what happened and when.
