DARK SHORES is an experimental survival horror game that pushes the boundaries of tension and tragedy. Developed by LABS, a one-man studio, it introduces players to a harrowing narrative featuring perma-death, branching storylines, and dynamically adapting scares. Amid the backdrop of a luxury cruise gone awry, five young tourists find themselves stranded on a remote island, fighting for survival while being hunted by an unseen terror.

In DARK SHORES, death is final. Unlike traditional games where a player can easily respawn, each character’s demise is permanent, elevating the game's emotional stakes and horror. When a character dies, the narrative seamlessly transfers to another survivor, ensuring the story continues while heightening the tension. Each choice and encounter can lead to drastic outcomes, forcing players to weigh their decisions heavily as they strive to stay alive.
