Game premise and mechanics

Cubic Haikus - hikikomori is a minimalistic, physics-based narrative puzzle game. Set in a digital world shaped by your memories, you play as a white cube trapped inside a monitor after a moment of rage. You need to navigate through this surreal landscape by manipulating the environment with color. The game involves using Color Emitters to match your hue, which allows you to activate circuits, remove obstacles, and access memories represented by poetry.

Emotional chapters

As you progress, you will encounter distinct emotional chapters that correspond to specific aspects of the recluse's life. Each of these segments contains challenges that require you to think critically about how to shift colors and interact with the environment.
