Top-down racing

Corner Cutters is a top-down racing game for PC. You steer, brake, and manage the throttle while tyre wear and temperature, changing weather, and damage affect the race. Up to 20 cars can share a grid, with ten teams of two. Drivers defend positions, dive inside, and sometimes get it wrong.

The weather can be dry, damp, wet, or changing. Slicks, intermediates, and wets each wear and heat up, and the racing line dries first as cars pass over it. You can pit for a crew to change tyres. Punctures, track limits, and penalties for causing collisions add consequences beyond finishing position.
