Contrast - PS4

Platforming Puzzle Challenges in a Dreamlike World

Contrast is a captivating platform/puzzle game on PS4 that dares players to navigate between a vibrant 3D world and a shadowy 2D realm. In this enchanting title, you take on the role of Dawn, the imaginary friend of a young girl named Didi. Together, they explore a surreal, jazz-infused 1920s environment that draws inspiration from vaudeville performance art and film noir. This unique setting creates a rich backdrop for challenging gameplay that keeps players engaged.

Unique Dual-World Gameplay Mechanics

The innovative mechanics in Contrast elevate typical platforming experiences. Players must switch between 3D and 2D perspectives to solve intricate puzzles, giving depth to the exploration. Utilizing light and shadow defines the gameplay; certain obstacles can only be navigated through one's awareness of their shadow counterpart. This clever use of dimensions not only challenges problem-solving skills but also adds a layer of artistry to the gameplay.
