Detective story in a dystopia

Code: 9 is a PC detective game set in a retro-futuristic dystopia. After the new regime, Aeterna, murders Johann’s beloved, he joins a resistance group of detectives investigating the regime’s atrocities. He works with K.L.A.R.A., an intelligent entity pursuing her own goal: destroying those who tried to enslave her.

Evidence and deductions

At crime scenes, you search for relevant evidence without points of interest or other hand-holding. You write out why the facts matter to the murder case, then try to convince K.L.A.R.A. with your reasoning. Hidden compartments and puzzles add ways to investigate, and secret deductions can uncover details few players find.
