Civil War II

Command Armies in Civil War II

Civil War II is a grand strategy game set during one of the most tumultuous periods in American history, allowing players to command either the Union or the Confederacy from 1861 to 1865. This turn-based strategy title emphasizes both historical accuracy and playability, ensuring that each decision, from military maneuvers to political strategies, resonates with genuine impact. Players must navigate complex terrains and climates while confronting the moral and strategic dilemmas of war.

Strategic Decisions Shape the Outcome

Engagement in Civil War II is built around a simultaneous turn-based system, known as WEGO (We Go). This innovative mechanic requires players to plan their moves with foresight, positioning their armies effectively and anticipating enemy actions. Orders are executed in 14 phases over a two-week period, generating suspense as players wait to see the outcomes of their strategies. The thrilling unpredictability of this system stands in stark contrast to traditional turn-based gameplay.
