Starting out as a director

Cinema Dreams: Rise of a Director is a PC filmmaking and life-simulation game about an 18-year-old trying to make films while broke and renting a tiny apartment. You start with a cheap camera and a job filming a friend’s sister’s wedding. Take on work to earn money, learn filmmaking skills and build a reputation.

Filming and editing

Each job uses a different minigame. At the wedding, get into position at the right time to film the ring, kiss and first dance, then arrange the clips in order in the editing room. Other assignments include lighting a dark shop from memory for a commercial, following a singer through a garage music video, keeping a boom mic steady in a recording studio, and filming horror scenes for a short film.
