Rhythm-action sidescroller

ChromaBreak is a PC rhythm-action sidescroller with bullet-hell combat and boss fights. You move through neon stages where lasers, projectiles and enemy spawns are timed to the music’s BPM and measures. Attacks follow fixed patterns rather than random timing, so you can learn their cues and move to the beat.

Defense and energy

Dodging is only part of survival. Dash close to hazards to fill your Super Meter without spending energy; completing a dash sends out an EMP ripple that clears bullet traps. Tap your shield on the beat to release a shockwave that destroys bullets and staggers enemies. You can also switch between Cyan, Magenta and Yellow polarities to absorb projectiles of the matching color and add their energy to your reserves.
