Chicken in the Darkness

Fried Chicken Meets Horror in a Roguelike Adventure

In Chicken in the Darkness, the mission is simple: retrieve fried chicken. But as our high school protagonist discovers, navigating the eerie halls of a boarding school after hours is anything but straightforward. This roguelike-indie-horror game, the brainchild of three high school students, spins a whimsical yet terrifying tale of friendship and survival. Can you complete the delivery and enjoy your meal, or will the lurking shadows claim your fate?

Unforgiving Mechanics in a School Haunted by Tension

Set entirely within the confines of a high school, players take on the role of a timid student forced to venture out on a late-night chicken run. With no save points available, every decision carries weight, shrouding each step in tension. This roguelike structure elevates the challenge, as players will find themselves facing random encounters and unexpected terrors in a race against time.
