ASCII roguelike

CHARNEL is a real-time ASCII roguelike for PC about descending through crypts with guns. Each run takes you along a different path through an ever-changing labyrinth, where you fight the dead and try to reach the bottom with one life.

Combat and weapons

You’ll find pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles and belt-fed machine guns, but ammunition is limited. Guns vary in quality and can come with attachments such as silencers, extended magazines and full-auto conversions. Shrines sometimes grant bonuses, but progression comes mainly from your skill and knowledge of the enemies. Death is final.
