CHAOS: Dread Manifest

Premise and setting

CHAOS: Dread Manifest is a PC game about a being called the Manifest, created to prevent humanity’s destruction. After a mysterious event, people have regressed to animalistic behavior and violence. Survivors who resist the corruption form cults, seeking the truth and trying to restore civility, but their competing beliefs lead to conflicts.

You search for a mystical object called “The Key” in the New World, which changes as you progress. The Old World remained stagnant, while the New World continually develops new areas and events.
