Grid-based snake puzzles

CatchTail is a PC puzzle game built around the ouroboros, a snake that circles around to swallow its own tail. You guide a snake across a grid, trying to return to its starting point and close the loop. A stage ends in failure if the snake reaches a dead end or bites into its own body.

Maps and obstacles

There are 100 handcrafted maps: 16 on 5x5 grids, 24 on 10x10 grids and 60 on 15x15 grids. They get harder as you progress. Portals, crocodiles, tomatoes and cages are introduced along the way, adding more things to account for as you work out a route that closes the loop.
