CATAL CARTA

Game premise and objectives

CATAL CARTA is a PC game set in a provincial town where players control five childhood friends who investigate local scandals at a secondhand bookshop. Your main goal is to gather information and evidence from townspeople by deciding where to send each friend. The relationships and chemistry your characters have with the suspects affect how cases unfold, as you piece together clues from 15 different cases.

Investigation mechanics

During each investigation, you manage the five friends as they traverse the town to collect information. The selection of which friend goes to which location is key; each character interacts differently with residents, impacting the flow of information and the unfolding narrative. After gathering clues, you'll confront suspects using knowledge from the books on the shelves, aiming to uncover the true story behind their statements.
