Genre and premise

CARRIAGES is a first-person horror exploration game for PC set in the Backrooms. You find yourself on an endless train, traversing procedurally generated carriages that each have their own atmosphere and hidden anomalies. The main objective is to document these anomalies using your camera as you navigate the train.

Gameplay mechanics

In the game, you explore various carriages that change with each playthrough due to procedural generation. This means that no two journeys will be identical. Throughout your exploration, you’ll encounter 100 different anomalies, some of which are obvious, while others are subtle or elusive. Your camera allows you to photograph these findings, and you will keep a growing journal of the anomalies and entities you discover.
