Captain Kaon

A Retro Adventure Reimagined with Captain Kaon

Captain Kaon draws inspiration from the golden era of arcade shooters, blending twin-stick mechanics with thrilling gravity-based gameplay. This retro-styled title channels the spirit of 1980s classics like Thrust and Gravitar, offering players a chance to relive a shmup sub-genre that deserves more than its share of nostalgia. Set against a vibrant backdrop filled with pixel art reminiscent of the Amiga era, the game is a treat for fans of both classic and modern gaming aesthetics.

Navigating an Alien Threat in Campaign Mode

In the campaign mode, players confront a relentless alien force threatening human colonies in the Regulus sector. The game's narrative places Captain Talia ‘Kaon’ in charge of the aging flagship Argus, sent to defend the last remnants of humanity’s new home. With a small and outdated fleet, she faces not only enemy assaults but also internal challenges, like orchestrating missions and managing limited resources to fend off the looming threat.
