A Quest Through a Flawed Canvas

Canvas Quest invites players into a whimsical yet chaotic world defined by its distinctively imperfect art style reminiscent of both digital and physical creations. Using RPGMaker MV, this turn-based JRPG presents a setting filled with malformed characters and quirky landscapes reminiscent of children's art projects. Players will take on the role of Bob, an Average Joe from Circle Town, whose peaceful life transforms into a mission of heroism when his wife Suzy gets kidnapped by the nefarious Evil King.

Unpredictable Character Abilities Await

As Bob ventures out to rescue Suzy, he encounters various friends and foes that shape his journey in unexpected ways. Characters learn new spells and moves that may serve different purposes, with experimentation at the heart of the gameplay. Finding the right combination of attacks or discovering what spells might be situationally beneficial can lead to powerful strategies, while some may turn out to be entirely useless. The choice lies in the player's hands, adding a layer of unpredictability to the classic JRPG formula.
