Boyhood's End

When Childhood Ends: A Sci-Fi Adventure

In 少年期の終り, players are thrust into a dark and thought-provoking journey through a world shaped by a cold, mechanical overlord. The story revolves around Giovanni, who grapples with the oppressive societal norms dictated by the enigmatic R. Karellen, where every aspect of life hinges on a personal "human score." Set in a harsh sci-fi universe, the game challenges players to question the essence of humanity while navigating puzzles and engaging in animated character interactions.

The World of R. Karellen

R. Karellen's society enforces a brutal hierarchy, where each individual is judged according to their human score, dictating their relationships, education, and livelihoods. This weighty system symbolizes a culture obsessed with conformity, breeding toxic environments in schools and social interactions. Giovanni, the protagonist with the lowest score, embodies the struggle against this mechanized cruelty. As he faces daily bullying and relentless judgment from peers and the educational system, the stakes in his journey rise dramatically.
