Deck-building runs

Blade of the Cultist is a PC deck-building game about fighting evil across branching runs. You build a deck from more than 70 cards across six schools: poison, bleed, burn, frost, lightning and stun. Saved loadouts let you carry builds between runs, while shops sell card upgrades at prices that make you choose what to improve.

Effigies and sockets let you change what a card does, rather than just raising its numbers. Gear adds another layer: you equip nine slots from more than 60 pieces across 16 sets. Two pieces of a set grant one effect, and three grant another. If a piece belongs to the wrong set, you can use an essence at the infusion bench to change its set permanently, at a cost.
