Chess tower defense

Black King's Defense is a chess-piece maze defense game for PC. White pieces enter one end of an 8-by-8 board and advance toward your king. You place black pieces to block routes and redirect the white army, while each piece attacks according to its chess move.

The campaign’s enemy waves are predetermined, so you can adjust your defense as you learn what’s coming. A run ends when the king is defeated, but you can rethink your setup and try to get further. The campaign is hand-authored and has multiple possible solutions.
