Game premise and mechanics

Biosphere-3 is a God-view ecosystem sandbox that allows players to shape and simulate life on a planet. You splice DNA to design various species and watch how they interact within food webs and survival strategies. As the Creator, you manage environmental changes like volcanoes and glaciers, influencing the evolution of your biosphere.

Designing species

In the game, you can create species with a modular gene editor, where you can swap organs, metabolisms, and behaviors. This system enables you to build everything from simple microorganisms to complex apex predators. The customization available in designing species allows for a wide range of potential ecosystems.
