Roguelike word battler

Battlegenics is a PC roguelike about breeding creatures made from words and sending a squad into real-time auto-battles. Six creatures fight hordes of hundreds, while you arrange their word boards and build combinations. Online co-op supports two players over Steam: each builds a squad, then both fight the same horde side by side.

Fusing creatures

Each creature is built from four parts, and every part is a word. Defeated monsters become loot: drag a fallen body onto one of your creatures to fuse them. Different words can combine into a word you haven’t seen before. Breeding the same part twice adds stars, while breeding relatives can bring out a hidden defect. Paired with the right word, a defect can become a powerful addition to your army.
