Island strategy

Bannertide is a real-time fantasy strategy game for PC, built around contested territory and clear routes across a procedurally generated island. Choose humans, necromancers, dwarves or mages, then fight three rival factions. Capturing your last castle means defeat, so you’ll need to decide which routes and strongholds to defend as well as where to advance.

Troops and territory

Capture dwellings to recruit soldiers and mines to earn gold. Castles guard routes across the island, and capturing one lets you convert it, changing the surrounding territory and recruitment while keeping your existing army. Recruit and upgrade 16 unit types, choosing troops for the job or assigning specialists to buildings. You can combine combat bonuses with healing or resurrection, then decide where to send troops and when to reinforce or push into stronger opposition.
